Overview
We are seeking a dependable Part-time Dishwasher to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to support the overall hospitality experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations.
- Support the kitchen staff by organizing clean dishes for efficient service flow.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or food service is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel kitchen operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed.
