Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hotel setting, providing excellent service and contributing to guest satisfaction. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial work is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas and corridors are tidy and well-maintained
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude toward guests and team members
- Adhere to scheduling requirements and complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required. We are willing to train.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning environments can be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward guest service
