ICD is currently seeking Rock Truck Operators to support an oilsands reclamation project for a 3-to-4-month fixed term contract. The schedule for this position is a 14x14 rotation, working twelve 12-hour shifts for the duration of the project. Experience working with Rock Trucks with gates and on/near water is an asset.
The successful applicant MUST BE local to Fort McMurray.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate rock truck and perform tasks that may involve physical labour
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other minor maintenance work
- Complete all necessary daily paperwork. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, pre-trip and inspection logs, deliver receipts, vehicle inspection, permits, hours of service, etc.
- Assist other personnel across various job sites and other duties as requested
- Must have the initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other job positions for project completion as requested.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating rock trucks
- General knowledge of dumping and hauling procedures
- Working experience on or near water and/or in a marine environment is an asset.

Successful candidates must provide have following items prior to confirmation of their start date:
- Comprehensive alcohol and drug test clearance letter
- Copy of valid class 5 driver’s license
- Copy of clean 3-year driver’s abstract
- Copies of training certificates related to site-based work
