Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to operate a 4 axle end dump on our US board. This role involves handling heavy equipment, transporting freight, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, dump experience and a strong understanding of safety protocols within a demanding environment.
Duties
- Operate a 4 axle end dump trailer with US board for transporting bulk materials across designated sites. Ontario, New York, and Quebec areas.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist in the preparation of freight for transport, including loading loads and verifying weight limits
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, cargo, and vehicle condition
- Adhere to all safety standards and company policies during operations
- Support truck repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy trucks
- Experience with dump operation, freight handling, and heavy equipment operation preferred
- Knowledge of truck repair or basic mechanical skills is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various conditions
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and heavy equipment use
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines
- Prior experience operating 4 axle end dump trucks or similar equipment is highly desirable
Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
