We are looking for an organized, energetic front-counter professional to manage our customer experience from the first phone call to the final invoice.
The Role
As our Parts & Service Coordinator, you will be the primary link between our customers and our shop technicians. This is a dual-focus role centred on sales and job scheduling. You will actively guide customers to the right parts while keeping our service bay efficiently booked.
Core Responsibilities
- Counter and Phone Sales: Answer incoming calls and greet walk-in customers. Listen to their needs, recommend the correct hitches or accessories, and close the sale.
- Job Booking & Scheduling: Manage the shop calendar. Estimate job timelines accurately and schedule installations to maximize our technicians productivity.
- Quotes & Invoicing: Create accurate quotes for parts and labour, look up parts availability with suppliers, and process final customer payments.
- Customer Communication: Provide clear updates to customers regarding their vehicle status, parts arrival times, and pricing.
- Manage Inventory Levels: Maintain relevant inventory, make sure we have the right parts in stock
What We Are Looking For
- Automotive or Mechanical Literacy: You must know your way around trucks. Pre-existing knowledge of towing setups, hitch classes, or truck accessories is a major asset.
- The "Gift of Gab" Comfortable talking to people, determining the customers needs, and confidently selling the right parts.
- Strong Organization: Ability to multi-task in a busy shop environment without letting details or calendar bookings slip.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computer-based point-of-sale (POS) systems, and parts lookup catalogues.
