Precast and Steel Fabrication Modeller/Drafter
At Parsus Engineering (Parsus), we are full-service integrated design consultants who design efficient, sustainable solutions for clients across Canada. Our team values collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement —and we’re looking for a skilled Fabrication Modeller to join us.
What You’ll Do
- Use drafting and 3D modelling software, such as Tekla and Revit, to create detailed steel and precast concrete fabrication drawings for manufacturers of building components such as precast concrete panels, stairs, and other structural elements.
- Collaborate with engineers and project coordinators to translate design concepts into high-quality design documents.
- Ensure all drawings meet internal standards, project requirements, and client expectations.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and coordinate updates across project teams.
- Maintain organized drawing sets, models, and file management systems.
Requirements
- Graduated from Manufacturing Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program at RRC Polytech or an equivalent post-secondary institution.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a passenger vehicle.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to function in a team-based environment.
- Aptitude for and general understanding of construction methods and procedures.
- Experience with 3D modelling software such as Autodesk Revit or Tekla BIM software.
