Our client in Smithville is seeking General Labour Pallet Repairers.
We are hiring dependable General Labourers for a pallet repair facility. This is a hands-on, physical role with guaranteed full-time hours and steady year-round work.
We are looking for part-time workers for our clients repair department on both shifts:
- Afternoon shift 1:30pm to Midnight (30 hours a week full shift, but will alternate the days weekly, and have the potential to work 40 hours if required)
- Day shift 5am to 1:30pm ( 32 hours 1 week and 24 hours the next week)
MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE - THERE IS NO BUS ROUTE.
Responsibilities
Inspect and repair wooden pallets at an individual workstation
Use hand tools (pry bar, hammer, nail gun) to replace damaged boards
Stack finished pallets
Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Meet daily production targets
Requirements
Comfortable with physical, repetitive work
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
CSA-approved steel-toed footwear required
Valid Class G driver's licence and reliable transportation
Basic comfort using computers or tablets
In-person role. Not remote.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
