About the Position
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented team member to join our property maintenance and cleaning team. This role combines professional cleaning with basic maintenance tasks, including drywall patching, touch-up painting, and minor repairs in residential rental properties.
Responsibilities
- Move-in and move-out cleaning
- Deep cleaning of residential properties
- Drywall patching and minor wall repairs
- Interior touch-up painting and repainting walls as needed
- Basic maintenance and handyman tasks
- Reporting property damage or repair needs
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and cleanliness
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Clean criminal record check (required upon hiring and updated every 2 years)
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between job sites
- Truck preferred (additional $1.00/hour paid to employees who regularly use their truck for work-related duties)
- Must reside in Red Deer, Innisfail, or the surrounding area between the two communities
- Previous professional cleaning experience preferred
- Experience with drywall patching and interior painting required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing cleaning and maintenance work
- Must have a smartphone (apple prefered) with reliable internet access for scheduling, communication, and job documentation
