Overview
Central Alberta: Stucco/parging or plaster/masonry experience a must! (at least 2 years). Established company looking for a professional stucco/parging installer and a plasterer/mason. We value professionalism, courtesy, cleanliness, attention to detail, and workmanship. Must be willing to listen to and follow instructions. You must have a valid driver's license. You must have your own reliable vehicle to get to and from job sites. We operate within and around Red Deer County, doing masonry, pargings and stucco repairs and new build, often six days a week, weather permitting.
Responsibilities
- Apply plaster, stucco, and parging materials to ceilings and exterior surfaces
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, cup grinding/sanding, or repairing as needed before application
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Use hand tools such as trowels, mixers, and caulking guns to achieve precise finishes
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in masonry, plastering, stucco application, or related construction fields
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work at heights or on scaffolding as needed for exterior applications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license is a must for transportation between job sites
