Resident Building Assistant (Live-In)
Location: Langley, BC
About the Opportunity
We are a third-generation family-owned property management company, looking for a professional, dependable and customer-focused Resident Building Assistant to live on-site and become the face of our Langley apartment community outside of regular business hours.
This unique salaried position combines resident relations, leasing support and emergency response. You'll provide exceptional resident service, respond to legitimate after-hours emergencies, conduct evening and weekend suite showings, and help create a safe, welcoming community while working closely with our Property Administrator, Maintenance Supervisor and Operations Manager.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
This is a salaried position that requires flexibility. The nature of the role means your workload will fluctuate depending on leasing activity, resident needs and legitimate after-hours emergencies.
While no two weeks are the same, the successful candidate should expect to dedicate an average of approximately 20–30 hours of active work per week to the role. Some weeks may require fewer hours, while others may require additional time depending on operational demands.
Rather than following a traditional schedule, this role is best suited for someone, or a couple, who enjoy flexibility, are dependable, responsive and take pride in being available when the community needs support. The salary reflects both the active duties performed and the responsibility of providing reliable after-hours availability.
