We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for our Dartmouth location. Our Warehouse Associate participates in all aspects of warehouse floor operations. They are responsible for processing incoming and outgoing products, inventory management, while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety standards of the warehouse.

Shift Times: Weekly hours will vary based on business needs. Candidates can expect schedules within the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekly hours may range from 15 to 40 hours, with additional hours available during peak periods. Applicants should be comfortable with a flexible schedule and changing weekly hours
Compensation: $18.00 per hour

What you will be doing! Your day to day will involve:
- Facilitate the process of shipments for all incoming and outgoing major home appliances and supplies, unloading, storage, labeling in the warehouse
- Loading and unloading major home appliances such as refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, etc safely and securely from delivery trucks, ensure that product is properly placed and stored
- Responsible for correctly placing product to their respective areas and ensuring efficient preparation for shipment including:
- Picking, scanning, loading customer product
- Packaging or rewrapping product for delivery
- Handling product with care and concern at all times using handling equipment such as pump trucks, lift truck, dollies, 2-person lifts
- Report any discrepancies with inventory and verifying inventory using various computer based applications
- Uphold warehouse health and safety regulations, ensure proper usage of warehouse handling equipment
- Required to perform general warehouse duties such as maintenance, safety, organization
- Perform other duties as required
What we are looking for…
- Valid Forklift/ Clamp Truck certification is an asset
- Must be available to work weekends
- Reliable transportation a requirement
- Able to lift 75 lbs comfortably
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
