Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Labourer. This role involves performing various tasks that support our operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our projects. Labourer will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with team members to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and effectively.
Full time position is available immediately and wage is based on experience.
Duties
- Assist in the installation of a variety of fencing products (vinyl, chainlink, wood, ornamental as well as highway barrier products).
- Assist with the loading of trucks/trailers, & operating machinery.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas throughout the day.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on the job site.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fencing or construction related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Valid class 5 (or higher) drivers license with clean 3 yr abstract an asset.
- CSTS/WHMIS, Fork Lift, Skid Steer or First Aid Certificates considered an asset.
- Action-oriented, self-starter attitude and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working outside in a variety of weather.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, willing to follow direction closely.
- Available to work on projects that require being away from home for an extended period of time. Live out allowance provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
