Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food safely and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with food plating and presentation for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the team during busy hours by providing timely and quality food service
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred but not required; kitchen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude
- Serving experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
