We are seeking a Jr. Treasury Analyst to join a growing Edmonton finance team! This fully in-office role will be responsible for supporting the daily duties of the treasury department, including cash management, credit facility administration, and financial reporting. This Jr. Treasury Analyst will be preparing loan draws, liquidity analysis, Letters of Credit, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of credit facilities by modeling asset values, cash flows, and cost scenarios.
- Monitor daily credit availability, interest rates, and lending conditions across all loan agreements.
- Prepare project development pro-formas and conduct sensitivity analysis for new and existing financing structures.
- Assist in financial due diligence for real estate asset acquisitions and divestments.
- Support the preparation of monthly lender reports, including compliance certificates and margin reviews.
- Maintain effective relationships with banks, legal counsel, quantity surveyors, and internal teams to support draw and financing processes.
- Contribute to daily banking and liquidity updates, providing insights into account activity and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist with treasury administrative tasks including audits, reporting, and document control.
- Support month-end and year-end treasury functions, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of financial data.
- Ability to analyze complex financing structures and present findings clearly.
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn in a fast-paced finance environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred in one of the following fields):
