Tacoma Immigration and IME Services Inc. has an opening for a Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist to work within our IME clinic in Lwr. Sackville.
This position may require travelling to the Dartmouth location as necessary
An Immigration Medical (IME) is a physical examination from a Panel Physician for the purpose of permanent residency, student visa, visitor visa, and etc.
Duties to include:
- Checking in patients during their immigration physical
- Creating immigration patient files in eMedical
- Photos, physical vitals
- Scanning, uploading of documents and receiving payments
- Verification of the patients identification
- Preparing paperwork necessary for the physicians
- Follow up for necessary patients
- Clinical work
- Use of eMedical and EMR software (Med Access)
-Standard Medical Reception duties
This position is not limited to the above duties, other duties may be assigned as necessary.
We are looking for a applicant to join our team that has excellent attention to detail, can work well with others or on their own with minimal supervision and has excellent computer skills.
