Job Summary
Apna Bharat Passport and Visa Services is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Immigration Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience handling immigration files and assisting clients with visa, work permit, and permanent residence applications. This role requires strong case management skills, excellent client communication, and the ability to review documentation thoroughly and prepare accurate applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding clients through immigration processes while ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and process immigration files from initial consultation to final submission.
- Review client documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with immigration requirements.
- Prepare and submit various immigration applications, including visitor visas, study permits, work permits, permanent residence applications, and related programs.
- Conduct client consultations and provide information regarding available immigration pathways.
- Counsel clients on Permanent Residence (PR), work permits, visitor visas, and other immigration options.
- Communicate with clients to collect required documentation and provide updates on application status.
- Monitor application deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and case files.
- Prepare supporting documents, forms, and submission packages.
- Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Stay updated on changes to Canadian immigration policies, programs, and procedures.
- Work closely with management and team members to ensure excellent service delivery and successful case outcomes.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to immigration file management as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in immigration file handling or case management.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, including Permanent Residence, Work Permits, Visitor Visas, and Study Permits.
- Experience reviewing and organizing immigration documents and application packages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service and client relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online application portals.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an immigration consulting, legal, or visa services environment.
- Knowledge of current IRCC policies and procedures.
- Fluency in Punjabi and Hindi is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with CRM systems and case management software.
