Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Team Member FOH to join our restaurant team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Take customer orders accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
- Handle cash transactions and process payments with attention to detail
- Assist with food preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitation protocols
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Good time management skills to manage multiple tables during busy hours
- Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous but not required
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
Pay: Up to $18.25 per hour
