Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Convenience Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage daily store operations, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or merchandising are a plus.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for cash handling, sales transactions, and product purchases
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain visual displays to promote sales
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock organization
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
- Process transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures
- Promote store promotions and new products through effective communication and upselling techniques
- Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Must be over 19 years of age to work in this establishment.
- Previous experience in similar business , cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of POS systems and retail merchandising practices
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service with friendly phone etiquette
- Demonstrated sales skills, including upselling and product demonstrations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $18.25-$18.50 per hour
