Crescent School invites applications for the following position beginning September 2026:
Graphic Design and Visual Documentation Co-op Student
Reporting to Crescent’s Graphic Designer and Visual Documentarian, you will be responsible for creating innovative design concepts including marketing & event collateral, print and digital advertisements, web design, and branding. As well, you will capture engaging stories using video and still images to be used in a variety of materials.
As a dynamic, engaging, creative professional with exceptional relationship building and communication skills, you have a passion for graphic design, photography and videography. Your commitment to your own professional growth is evident in the innovative practices you bring to work and inspires the development and growth of your colleagues. Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize graphics and design layouts for a variety of communications and marketing materials;
- Photography and videography, including photo and video editing;
- Social media content creation;
- Website and template maintenance using HTML and CSS
The successful candidate will have:
- Enrolled in a post-secondary program with an emphasis in multimedia, e.g. graphic design, visual communication, print/web design, videography/photography, or related field
- Proficiency with CSS and HTML as well as regular office software;
- Expert knowledge and experience with design software such as Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
- Experience with GSuite and Blackbaud an asset
- Excellent photography and videography skills; experience editing video with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects or similar software;
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills;
- Superior customer service focus;
- Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to accept new perspectives;
- Compassion, and a desire to cultivate courage and nurture connection;
- A passionate team player and a strong contributor to a coaching culture of growth and flourishing; and
