Graphic Design and Visual Documentation Co-op Student
Reporting to Crescent’s Graphic Designer and Visual Documentarian, you will be responsible for creating innovative design concepts including marketing & event collateral, print and digital advertisements, web design, and branding. As well, you will capture engaging stories using video and still images to be used in a variety of materials.
As a dynamic, engaging, creative professional with exceptional relationship building and communication skills, you have a passion for graphic design, photography and videography. Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize graphics and design layouts for a variety of communications and marketing materials;
- Photography and videography, including photo and video editing;
- Social media content creation;
- Website and template maintenance using HTML and CSS
The successful candidate will have:
- Enrolled in a post-secondary program with an emphasis in multimedia, e.g. graphic design, visual communication, print/web design, videography/photography, or related field
- Proficiency with CSS and HTML as well as regular office software;
- Expert knowledge and experience with design software such as Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
- Experience with GSuite and Blackbaud an asset
- Excellent photography and videography skills; experience editing video with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects or similar software;
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills;
- Superior customer service focus;
- Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to accept new perspectives;
- Compassion, and a desire to cultivate courage and nurture connection;
- A passionate team player and a strong contributor to a coaching culture of growth and flourishing; and
