We are seeking a dedicated Evening Bar Supervisor to lead our team and ensure an outstanding customer experience at our Quadra Village Roastery location. Working closely with the Roastery Manager and Events Lead, the Evening Bar Supervisor this role is pivitol in maintaining our high standards of service, managing daily operations, and fostering a welcoming environment that reflects our company's values.
Responsibilities
· Ensure that the bar is always organized, clean and appropriately stocked for service.
· Restock beer, wine, cider and cocktail supplies ahead of evening events or private functions.
· Supports and promotes table service model for evening flow.
· Follow nightly closing checklists, leaving the bar ready for morning opening.
· Assist location manager with ordering of alcohol, supplies and approved products to support bar service.
· Manage glassware inventory, ensure all glasses are polish and stacked in appropriate places behind bar.
· Oversee consistency of cocktail program among all bar staff, maintain and uphold standards set, ensure team confidence in selling and preparing cocktails.
· Understand and uphold house policy for liquor service
· Report any equipment issues or temporary fixes to location manager for follow up
Ideal candidate:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety standards.
- Experience in restaurant or bar settings preferred.
- Passion for hospitality and sustainable food practices.
