Graphic Designer (Work Study) - Student Work Study job opportunities open to full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.

- Students at Fanshawe College must be a full-time registered student, and meet financial needs assessment criteria
- International Student must have a valid Work permit.
- Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.

Summary
The Graphic Designer (Work Study) plays a vital role in supporting the FSU's marketing and communication efforts by creating compelling visual content for print and digital platforms. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented student who is passionate about design and eager to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced environment.
This is a part-time Work Study position open to full-time Fanshawe College students approved for the Work Study program.
Job Duties
- Design and produce a variety of marketing materials including, but not limited to: posters, brochures, ads, flyers, newsletters, and digital graphics.
- Prepare final artwork for print and digital use, ensuring all files meet production and platform specifications.
- Maintain an organized digital archive of design projects.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team and attend creative meetings as required.
- Ensure consistency with established FSU branding, style guides, and accessibility standards.
- Support social media and experiential marketing initiatives through the development of visual content.
- Represent the department at student events and activities in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support department goals.
Requirements
- Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience on a Mac platform preferred.
- Strong understanding of current design principles, tools, and production processes.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to receive and incorporate feedback.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
