Mandatory Qualifications:
- Licensed 310s Automotive Technician or Must be enrolled with college of trades and completed apprenticeship level 1, 2 or 3.
- Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.
- Drivers License.

Summary:
This position is responsible for carrying out work as directed by Seamless Auto Care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses and performs work as outlined on repair order (Licensed Tech) with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with our proprietary procedures. For apprentices this will be done under the supervision of a Licensed Technician
- Discusses any problems related to the repair with Their supervising Technician or other Owners.
- Communicates with Service Manager to obtain needed parts to complete jobs.
- Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Informs the Service Manager of any additional repairs needed or advised.
- Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Reviews all repairs with a Supervising Technician.
- Road tests vehicles after repairs are completed, to ensure that the repairs have been properly done, and that the repair answers the concerns as stated on the work order.
- Greets customers respectfully and in a way to achieve best possible customer service. Also is able to explaining to customers what the problem is, how it is of concern and the best way to fix the issue.
- Ensures that customer cars are kept clean. Notifies Service Manager immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
- Performs basic equipment Maintenance and maintenance records.
- Attends all training courses as requested by Service Manager.
- Shuttles vehicles into and out of service area.
- Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company policies, procedures and standards.
- Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
- Sets-up and organizes individual work area with designated supplies, forms and resource materials while maintaining cleanliness at all times. Work to maintain organization and cleanliness of shop.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of technical repairs and procedures.
- Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility.
- Ability to drive manual transmission.
- Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.
- Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in English fluently.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and quality orientated.
