Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service and kitchen operations while contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Running food to the table appropriately.
- Should be able to hold a conversion when needed.
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently after guests finish their meals
- Assist with setting up dining areas and restocking supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift
- Support food preparation tasks when required, including basic food handling and prep work
- Ensure all work areas are organized and free of hazards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards in the restaurant
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting dishes or supplies
- Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
