Job Description:
Front of House: Managing transactions with customers using our Point of Sales system. Collecting payments whether in cash, debit or credit. Greet customers when entering or leaving our establishment, providing great customer service. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, complete daily cleaning and checklists while being a good team player.
Back of house: A Line Cook is responsible for their station's workflow and getting meals out on a timely manner. They cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. Maintain a clean & tidy workspace, complete daily cleaning and station checklists and be a good team player. Experience preferred but not necessary.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Take Customers Orders
- Attention to detail
- Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Good Communication with guests
- Cash Handling & Processing Customer orders
- Clear and clean tables between guest visits
- Maintain knowledge of the menu and specials
- Coordinate the timing of food orders between the kitchen and servers
- Ensure that each dish meets presentation standards
- Communicate any delays or issues with the kitchen staff
- Follow instructions and recipes using standardized ingredients
- Adhere to health and safety food regulations
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area and tools
- Maintain a positive team environment
- Prepare and assemble menu items
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 16 years or older
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with technology
- Frequently standing at station
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and processing payments
- Previous experience is an asset
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ontario Smart Serve is an asset
