Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, providing excellent cashiering service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure safety.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining quality standards.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
