We're looking for an experienced welder/supervisor to learn our processes and work within the Niverville production team to continue our business growth.
Duties
- Assist, lead, & coordinate daily welding & fabrication activities to achieve daily targets.
- Train, mentor, & evaluate welding personnel.
- Assist & support with recruiting and skills development.
- Coordinate resources with Plant Manager & scheduling team for optimum productivity.
- Assign work based on production schedules or defined urgent daily priorities.
- Monitor workflows & adjust individual tasks for maximum efficiencies.
- Identify and advise of any potential material shortages or surpluses.
- Ensure all welding is performed according to specifications & standards.
- Inspect and correct defects and/or advises Plant Manager of any underlying process or design conflicts.
- Maintain accurate & timely records for quality controls and to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections and ensures proper use of P.P.E.
- Enforce company safety policies & reports any workplace incidents or near misses.
- Pitch in to backfill with welding tasks during any short term labour shortages.
- Possesses proven welding skills & supervisory experience.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
