Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN must be able to team lead effectively on their own. The LPN works to the full scope of practice in providing safe, quality care in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE Auxiliary Nursing Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting required. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. *Note: Availability details must be clearly outlined in resume or cover letter (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and summer commitment will be required).
Preferred Qualifications:
Dementia-specific education (e.g., Supportive Pathways or equivalent) grounded in person-centered care and responsive approaches to dementia-related behaviors. Current NVCI training. Recent Palliative experience. Connect Care experience.
