As an Independent Vacation Consultant, you build your own travel business with complete flexibility and unlimited earning potential.
About the Role
This is a fully flexible, entrepreneurial opportunity for individuals interested in building their own travel business. Work remotely, from our White Rock office, or even while traveling.
This role is 100% commission‑based with no cap on earnings, and there is no set schedule, allowing you to grow at your own pace.
Full transparency, there is a steep learning curve. Experienced consultants with a client book are preferred. However, those individuals with a passion for travel and a willingness to be coached and developed will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on Cruise travel (ocean, river, expedition-style)
- Assist clients with Luxury travel planning including high-end accommodations and premium itineraries
- Create personalized journeys for Expedition and adventure-style travel
- Organize Group travel including families, corporate groups, clubs, and special-interest groups
- Tailor itineraries to meet client needs, budgets, and travel preferences
- Manage end‑to‑end bookings: flights, hotels, cruises, tours, insurance, and documentation
- Cultivate long-term client relationships through outstanding service
- Conduct consultations via phone, video, email, or in-person
- Manage your own business development, schedule, and client outreach
- Utilize office space (optional) for collaboration and client meetings
Qualifications
- Experience in sales, travel, customer service, or hospitality is an asset (not required)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently
- Passion for travel—especially cruising, luxury escapes, expedition trips, and group experiences
- Ability to learn booking platforms and supplier systems (training provided)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and relationship-focused
