Job Summary
Far & Wide is a growing electrical company looking for a skilled and reliable electrician to join it's operations during the busy season.
As of now, the owner is actively working in the field and handling the majority of the day-to-day projects such as:
-AC power services and distribution for new telecom tower construction.
-Field wiring for door access and security camera installations.
-Commercial/ light industrial shop upgrades.
-Commercial / Residential service calls.
As the workload continues to grow, he is looking for someone experienced who can step in, take ownership of projects, and help run these types of jobs from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is confident in working independently, organized on site, and able to communicate professionally with clients, contractors and other trades. We need someone who takes pride in quality work, can problem-solve on the job, and understands the importance of showing up prepared and getting the work done right.
This is a seasonal/fixed-term position with the potential for extension depending on workload and fit.
Responsibilities
- Running jobs independently or with minimal supervision.
- Completing commercial work and occasional residential.
- Reading plans, blueprints, troubleshooting and completing installations and upgrades.
- Communicating with clients, contractors, and suppliers when needed.
- Representing the company professionally on site.
- Helping support the owner with the growing workload during busy season.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or certification.
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician as a lead or foreman.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian electrical code and job site procedures.
- Confident in troubleshooting electrical issues on site.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
Pay: $40.00-$43.75 per hour
