Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer with strong Mastercam programming experience to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines while ensuring high-quality production and adherence to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam (mandatory).
- Set up and operate CNC Milling/Lathe and/or Turning machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to optimize production.
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
- Proven experience with Mastercam programming is required.
- Strong CNC setup and operation experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
- Experience working with tight tolerances and precision machining.
- Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining.
- Experience with Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls.
- Trade certification or related manufacturing education is an asset.
Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
