Job Summary:
The Corrugator Clamp Operator is responsible for safely operating clamp trucks to transport and stage paper rolls for corrugator production, ensuring the correct materials are available and aligned with the production schedule. This role also supports the corrugator team by performing break relief for Double Backer/Facer Operators, assisting during upset conditions, and maintaining inventory accuracy and housekeeping standards. The position requires strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork over a 12-hour shift.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operate clamp truck safely and efficiently to move, stage, and supply paper rolls to the corrugator

Verify correct paper grades and widths are prepared and aligned with production requirements

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times

Communicate safety, quality, or equipment concerns promptly to the Production Leader
-
Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and Safe Work Practices
-
Learn basic corrugator operations and provide break relief for Double Backer/Facer Operators
-
Support the corrugator team during upset conditions, including assisting with jam-ups and troubleshooting
-
Perform starch quality checks at the required frequency and maintain cleanliness of the starch room during downtime
-
Flush starch lines and clean starch storage tanks during scheduled corrugator preventative maintenance (PM) days
-
Assist roll room receivers by unloading trailers and railcars as required
-
Complete incoming material inspections and required documentation when receiving roll stock
-
Maintain accurate inventory through system transactions, scanning, and organization of paper rolls
-
Perform regular stock takes and support month-end inventory counts when scheduled
-
Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) processes and maintain roll room organization

Maintain housekeeping standards in the rollstock warehouse

Safely handle materials up to 50 lbs, including propane tanks

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

High school diploma

Prior forklift or clamp experience

Attention to detail

Hand/eye coordination is required
