As a Home Energy Advisor, you will meet with homeowners at pre-booked appointments and help them understand their options for improving their home comfort, efficiency, and monthly energy picture.
This is not a cold-calling role and it is not door-to-door. Appointments are provided. Your job is to show up prepared, build trust with the homeowner, explain the solution clearly, handle objections professionally, and close the sale.
No HVAC experience is required. We provide training on the products, sales process, financing, incentives, and paperwork.

What You’ll Be Selling
You will be trained to present whole-home comfort and energy solutions, including:
- Furnaces
- Heat pumps
- Air conditioners
- Tankless water heaters
- Indoor air quality products
- Filtration and purification systems
- Water treatment solutions
- Attic insulation and other home efficiency upgrades
The goal is to help homeowners find the right solution based on their home, budget, comfort needs, and long-term savings.
What You’ll Do
- Attend pre-booked homeowner appointments across your assigned territory
- Conduct a basic in-home assessment of the customer’s current equipment and comfort needs
- Explain available options clearly and professionally
- Present pricing, financing, warranties, installation timelines, and available incentives
- Handle homeowner questions and objections with confidence
- Guide customers through the purchase and financing process
- Follow the company sales process and update CRM notes after each appointment
- Follow up with customers when needed
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity

Requirements
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Located in Southern Ontario
- Comfortable driving daily for appointments
- Strong spoken English for in-home presentations
- Comfortable with 100% commission-based compensation
- Sales experience is preferred, but not required if you are highly coachable and motivated
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is a strong asset:
- Door-to-door sales
- Automotive sales
- Telecom sales
- Home services sales
- Roofing, windows, HVAC, solar, alarms, pest control, or renovation sales
- Real estate or mortgage sales
- Fitness sales or membership sales
- Any commission-based sales environment

Compensation
This is a 100% commission-based role with uncapped earning potential.
Expected earnings: $80,000–$150,000+ per year
Top performers can exceed $200,000+ annually
