Job Summary - 40 hours per week (10am - 6:30pm shift - $20.51 per hour)
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including order fulfillment and inventory management. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment, contributing to a productive and safe working environment.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes for the movement of goods.
- Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Fulfill orders by assembling packages according to specifications.
- Maintain an organized workspace by keeping inventory sorted and accessible.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
- Fabricate packaging materials as required for shipping products.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or overtime.
