Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Powersports Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles such as motorcycles, ATVs, and snowmobiles. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various powersports vehicles using specialized tools and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire replacements, brake adjustments, and engine tune-ups
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
- Maintain accurate documentation of services performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist customers with questions regarding repairs or maintenance needs when required
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary parts and tools
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of powersports vehicles or similar machinery
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, or impact wrenches is preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs and safety compliance
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
