We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA MM Consultant to lead the architecture and delivery of end-to-end procurement and inventory solutions. This role requires a Subject Matter Expert who can navigate highly customized ABAP environments while leveraging SAP Best Practices. You will be responsible for transforming complex business requirements into scalable S/4HANA solutions, ensuring seamless integration across the enterprise digital landscape.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Lead Architectural Design: Lead workshops to architect MM/IM solutions, producing detailed design documents and functional specifications.
Full-Cycle Implementation: Drive S/4HANA full-cycle projects, including hands-on configuration, data migration, and transformation of MM data objects.
Process Leadership: Own Direct/Indirect Procurement workflows, pricing procedures, source determination, and material valuation (Standard/Moving Average).
Inventory & Logistics: Oversee complex inventory processes (Goods Receipt/Issue, Stock Transfers) and Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV).
Cross-Functional Integration: Manage critical touchpoints with SD, PP, PM, and FI/CO, and integrate with 3rd-party Warehouse (WM) and Transportation (TM) systems.
Quality & Performance: Collaborate with test teams to validate system functionality and perform root-cause analysis for system optimization.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
S/4HANA Lifecycle Leadership: Over 10 years of SAP MM/IM experience, including multiple full-cycle implementations and at least one end-to-end S/4HANA project.
Technical Data Management: Hands-on expertise in S/4HANA configuration, data migration, and the transformation and loading of MM-specific data objects.
Procurement Subject Matter Expert: Mastery of Direct and Indirect Procurement processes, including requisitions, vendor evaluation, and complex pricing procedures.
Inventory & Valuation Authority: Comprehensive understanding of inventory management (goods movement, physical inventory, and stock transfers) and material valuation using standard and moving average pricing
Cross-Functional Integration: Strong knowledge of integrating MM with planning, third-party warehouse/transportation systems, and other SAP modules like SD, PS, PM, and FI/CO.
Architectural Design: Proven ability to lead design workshops and translate business needs into detailed solution design documents (SDD) within highly customized ABAP environments.
Standards & Best Practices: Experience implementing SAP Best Practices to deliver functional specifications that align with industry standards and specific business requirements.
Quality Assurance & Optimization: Skilled in collaborating with test teams to execute scripts, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to optimize system performance.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
