Job Overview
We are seeking Foundation and Flat work persons to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in various concrete-related projects, ensuring quality workmanship and safety standards are maintained. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in concrete forming, finishing, and related construction tasks within a dynamic work environment.
Duties
- Assist with concrete forming and finishing.
- Install rebar and other reinforcement materials according to project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and layouts.
- Follow safety protocols.
- Assist with the installation of forms and ensure proper alignment for concrete placement.
- Maintain a clean work site by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation.
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately.
- Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and protocols.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
