Qualification:
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize welding skills for bodywork or structural repairs when necessary
- Assemble or disassemble parts and components following manufacturer specifications
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to move or position heavy parts or equipment
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and addressing customer concerns effectively
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Dealership experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency in welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of maintenance routines for various vehicle types and machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills
- Prior experience working with customer service teams is a plus
