Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is vital in ensuring that all facility systems operate smoothly, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. The Facilities Manager will coordinate various projects, manage maintenance activities, and implement improvements to optimize facility performance.
Responsibilities
- Direct and control construction projects.
- Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities.
- Evaluate construction projects when modifying commercial, transportation or recreational facilities and real estate.
- Identify customers' needs.
- Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility.
- Plan and organize the operations of the facility and the included real estate
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
- Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services.
- Prepare and administer sales contracts.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures, including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Plan and manage the facility's operations budget.
- Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal.
- Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit the client's needs.
- Use sales forecasting software.
- Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff.
- Resolve product and service related problems.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
Skills
- Proven management and supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience using Internet-based electronic commerce.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial environments.
- Ability to oversee complex projects from planning through execution while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $48.00-$50.00 per hour
