Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all safety protocols related to cooking equipment and kitchen safety
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Strong understanding of the food industry and meal preparation processes
- Excellent skills in serving, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in a busy kitchen setting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for motivated learners
Pay: $16.10-$20.00 per hour
