We are seeking a skilled Used Car Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a focus on used car inspections and certifications. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive systems, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques to ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards for resale. Candidates should have dealership experience and familiarity with a wide range of automotive repairs, including transmissions, and electrical systems. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and customer service skills are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections and certifications on used vehicles to ensure compliance with licensing requirements
- Conduct repairs and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire service, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and engine diagnostics
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for various repair tasks
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
- Ability to review repair orders and perform the job as efficiently as possible.
- Must be able to diagnose vehicles such as but not limited to Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Porsche and other cars
- Ability diagnosis electrical systems and Engine performance .
- Ability to do Suspension, Steer & Brake System .
- Must have valid Ontario Driver license, and Own Tools Box
- Planning and organizing
- Excellent time management skills
- Good team player, contributing to a pleasant and effective atmosphere
- Accuracy in following instructions
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrain component

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
