Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Operate the POS system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
- Provide information about promotions, sales, and store policies through clear communication
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with store organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Experience with retail sales, cashiering, POS systems, and cash handling
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and product placement strategies
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is advantageous
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective phone etiquette for handling inquiries and follow-ups
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers on features and benefits
