Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for outdoor work, particularly in garden and landscape maintenance. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of landscapers, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your expertise in building, irrigating, and maintaining gardens will be essential in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of landscapers in various landscape maintenance tasks.
- Plan and execute garden installations, including planting, irrigation setup, and maintenance.
- Ensure that all crew members adhere to safety protocols and best practices while on-site.
- Train new team members on proper techniques for landscape maintenance and equipment use.
- Monitor project progress and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project details, timelines, and any changes that may arise.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their installation is preferred.
- Familiarity with various landscaping tools and equipment is essential.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
