Overview
We are seeking an Experienced TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced welding skills, particularly in TIG welding, and have a strong background in fabrication and assembly within industrial environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects that require precision and technical expertise, contributing to high-quality manufacturing processes.
Duties
- Perform TIG welding on various metals according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble components with precision.
- Measure parts with calipers and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, rigging, and general manufacturing operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding within a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Proficiency in MIG welding is a plus; ability to adapt to various welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for fabrication tasks
- Experience with schematics interpretation and blueprint reading for complex projects
- Ability to operate equipment such as calipers, hand tools, power tools, and welding machinery safely
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods
- Relevant certifications in welding (such as CWB certification) are preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
