Kenworth Ontario is seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to lead our heavy-duty truck service department. Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will provide technical leadership, coordinate daily activities, and ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Service Manager, the shop foreman will be responsible for planning, scheduling, performing, directing, and evaluating the repair and servicing of equipment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of heavy - duty truck technicians
- Assign and prioritize repair orders to maximize shop productivity and efficiency
- Provide hands on diagnostic and technical assistance for complex repairs
- Ensure work is completed according to manufacturer specific and dealership standards
- Coordinate workflow with the Service and Parts Departments
- Support the Service Manager in achieving departmental goals for productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Help manage shop scheduling and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed
Qualifications:
- 310T truck and coach license would be considered an asset
- Minimum 5 years of heavy duty truck repair experience
- Previous leadership, foreman, or mentoring experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, aftertreatment, drivetrains, and brake systems
- Strong commitment to employee morale / customer satisfaction
