Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for local and long-distance freight deliveries
- Load and unload frac sand
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, routes, and vehicle logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Ability to climb super B hoppers to manually open and close tarps
Experience
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Familiarity working around fracing crews
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance
- Experience with logistics software or route planning tools is advantageous
- Ability to operate trucks safely and efficiently in various environments
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
