We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Plate dishes attractively and efficiently for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure proper food handling and safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure seamless service flow
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience with meal preparation and food industry best practices is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation
- You have to have excellent spoken English skills.
