Job Summary
Späti Spirits.ca is a locally-owned, family-run liquor chain focused on the local community. While our stores proudly serve the local Surrey community, our inspiration comes from the relaxed, social spirit of Berlin's Spätis, places where great drinks, convenience, and community naturally come together.
Currently, we are accepting applications for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Casual Liquor Store Clerk positions in our Surrey District.
Stores Hiring:
1. Fraser Heights (16033 108 Ave #401, Surrey, BC V4N 1P2)
2. Clover Crossing (6466 176th St. #413, Surrey, BC V3S 4G3)
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for cash handling, credit card processing, and sales transactions
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store environment
- Legal-aged (19 years or age or older)
- Serving It Right required
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills required
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management capabilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- This position offers an engaging work environment where excellent customer service is prioritized. Candidates should be adaptable, personable, and eager to contribute to a positive shopping experience for all customers.
