We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Flatbed Delivery Driver to transport and deliver materials and equipment using a flatbed truck. The successful candidate must hold a valid Class 1 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement and have experience securing loads, operating safely, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate a flatbed truck safely and efficiently to pick up and deliver goods
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Secure loads using straps, chains, binders, and tarps
- Ensure cargo is transported in compliance with safety regulations
- Load and unload materials as required
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and inspection reports
- Follow all provincial and federal transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Keep truck and equipment clean and properly maintained
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence
- Valid Air Brake Endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR (if applicable)
- Previous flatbed or commercial driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of load securement procedures and transportation safety standards
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
Working Conditions
- Local and/or long-haul deliveries depending on route assignment
- Early morning, evening, or weekend shifts may be required
- Physically demanding work including climbing, lifting, and securing cargo
