Duties

- Oversee data entry related to inventory management, purchase orders, and supply chain documentation using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality parts at competitive prices while maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Supervise inventory control procedures, including regular stock audits, demand planning, and cycle counts to minimize shortages or excess stock.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians and customers with parts inquiries, order status updates, and technical support related to mechanical knowledge.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including forklift handling and safety compliance, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of parts.
- Collaborate with manufacturing or service departments to forecast future parts demand based on vehicle trends and repair schedules.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive parts sourcing, procurement, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in data entry tasks related to supply chain logistics using CMMS platforms.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems
- Familiarity with supply chain principles, demand planning strategies, and sourcing best practices within an automotive or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred or willing to train.
