Okeya Kyujiro, an exclusive reservation-only omakase restaurant located in Toronto's prestigious Yorkville neighborhood, is currently seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our Toronto team.

Position
Sushi Chef (Full-Time)
Requirements
- Professional chef experience required
- Previous sushi experience preferred
- Fluent Japanese language skills required
- Strong communication and hospitality skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Eligibility to work in Canada
Employment Details
- Full-time position (4 days per week, approximately 40 hours)
- Schedule: Thursday through Sunday
- Three consecutive days off: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
- Vacation pay and public holiday pay provided

Responsibilities
- Ingredient preparation and daily kitchen prep
- Preparing and serving sushi and omakase dishes directly in front of guests
- Cooking and presentation of sushi, tempura, grilled items, and other menu offerings
- Food plating and presentation
- Maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards
- General kitchen operations and support duties
